"Evatronica stands for quality in content." CEO Eva Schimmer

"When I started in this field, news photographers where shooting analog". After a job you got the films to edit and select the best pictures. I guess the news agency AP was the first who started with the digital News Feeds via satellite. There was only one computer available at the picture desk for selecting the best of the best picture and it was impossible to publish a digital picture at that time on a double page spread, the quality was simply too bad. You had to wait for the parcel from London or New York with the slides. As time passed, more and more agencies went digital, the amount of pictures got bigger, the quality poorer. There was less time to edit pictures as well. It is fascinating and depressing to see what happens around the globe every day, paparazzi, news, wars... out of
30. 000 pictures only one gets published. You know them all... ."

"I miss double page spread and up to 10 pictures of a good reportage in the magazines. That is the reason why I start a publishing network and publishing house under my own artist name , under the name evatronica."

We are going to launch two quarterly publishing projects:

Jai Hind - Next generation.
An online magazine about people who live in India or have Indian origins. In the end it should become a book project.

Chrome and Skin.
An english online magazine with intelligent advertisements, reportage photography, providiing enough space for photo series. Informing as well about design, cars, gimmicks...

I set up my studio, inkbrushnme in 2007 after my masters
as a communication designer and started illustrating for
graphic novels, advertising agencies, production houses
and entertainment design studios, such as
GQ India, Penguin, Leo Burnet, Virgin Comics,
Visuals for Linkin Park (Tour 2011), etc...

Meanwhile i realized that my natural inclination and interest
has been to understand Indian Philosophy and Mythology
which are intensely designed practical stories of a better way of life."

"Illustrating science fiction and fantasy stories allows me to give substance to one of my favourite subjects: the fantastic. To show something that previously has never been seen, that does not exist in the so-called reality, but could be imagined.

A picture makes it easier to imagine. In this sense, my illustrations are windows to fantastic worlds, or rather doors for the fantastic to enter."
